We ended Term Two with a heartfelt and wonderful tribute to First Nations people at our NAIDOC whole school liturgy. All week our school community took part in a wonderful variety of activities.
In Week Nine was the inaugural Year Eleven trip to Perth to gain insight of the opportunities after Year Twelve. Our students fully embraced the spirit of the camp and I'm so proud at the way they conducted themselves and represented their families and school.
Finally, we look forward to seeing as many parents and students at the PT interviews on Monday. Information has been sent out to all families (email). Administration can assist with any bookings if you are having any difficulties.
Wishing you all a successful Term Three - especially to our Year Twelves as it is their last term.
St Joseph - Pray for us.
Amen.

Feast Day: August 4
Patron Saint of: Priests
Life:
Wanting to become a Priest, John was not prepared for his seminary studies as he had poor schooling growing up. His failure to comprehend Latin forced him to discontinue his studies but feeling called to the priesthood, he got private tutoring and was eventually ordained. John was known to spend twelve hours a day in reconciliation listening to people confess their sins and while tired, he endured as he felt the call to serve the people. John was born on May 8, 1786 and died at the age of 73 on August 4, 1859.
Prayer:
Saint John Vianney, your strong faith carried you through all of life's trials. May I have the same determination to be the best I can be in my life. Let what I think, say, and do, benefit my neighbour and lead me closer to the Lord. Through your intercession may I be strengthened in courage and faith. Saint John Vianney, pray for us.
