What we know is that the world is changing fast. Technology, workplaces, and leadership expectations are evolving. Yet, women remain underrepresented in leadership roles. At Future Female Leaders, we have seen first-hand the positive impact of educating, encouraging, and empowering our female leaders early!
That’s why we created the Purposeful Leaders Program – to give young women the head start they deserve and enable them to leap into leadership at school, in life, and in their future careers.
There has never been a more important moment to invest in the leadership of young women. When leadership skills are developed in late adolescence, confidence strengthens, self-belief deepens, and the foundations for a flourishing adulthood are set.
By learning how to communicate clearly, think critically, lead with integrity, and navigate challenges with resilience, young women become equipped to handle life’s complexities and step boldly into the many roles they will hold in the future.
The world needs more strong, grounded, capable female leaders. And that empowerment doesn’t start someday. It starts now.
By the end of the Purposeful Leaders Program, students will:

Our Year 11 student leaders Bridie and Rebecca, accompanied by Mr Williams, recently represented our school at a State Budget Breakfast held at the Albany Convention Centre. The event provided a valuable opportunity to learn about civic leadership and the future of the region. Attendees heard from WA Premier Roger Cook, joined by Minister for Regional Development Stephen Dawson and Minister for the Great Southern Reece Whitby who spoke about key State Budget priorities and upcoming developments across the Great Southern. The students valued the chance to meet community leaders and hear how decisions can support regional communities. The experience reflected our Catholic school’s commitment to forming informed, engaged young people who contribute positively to the common good.
To raise awareness for Project Compassion in Term One, the Junior School were involved in a colouring competition. We had so many entries this year and with everyone doing such a fantastic job, it was very difficult to select our winners.
Winners for 2026 are:
Year 1 - Z'nia
Year 2 - Effie
Year 3 - Havanna
Year 4 - Jaspar
Year 5 - Heze
Year 6 - Keira
Thank you to the students who participated and to Mrs Nash for displaying the work in the Library. We look forward to doing it again in 2027!
