On Wednesday the 3rd of June the College hosted Denmark Secondary High School in an exhibition match in Volleyball and Basketball.
The senior schools girls put up a good display winning all three sets as they prepare for the upcoming Volleyball school sport competition in Perth during Term Three. It was good to see all of the early morning training paying off as Leilani controlled the net and Bridie and Antonia sizzled some serves. The Senior Boys unfortunately couldn't keep pace with Denmark in the basketball, who went into overdrive at the start of the second half and extended their lead to win by 7 points. All things considered it was a solid effort with Andre's first half keeping us in the match and Natale ensuring it wasn't a blowout at the end. It will be interesting to see how Denmark fare at school country week in a fortnight.
Thankyou to Mr Bogoni for providing the entertainment, Brayden for officiating and the P&F committee for providing the sausage sizzle. It was greatly appreciated.

Life:
Andrew was Saint Peter's brother and was called with him to be an apostle. Matthew (4:18-20) writes "As Jesus was walking by the sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon who now called Peter, and his brother Andrew, casting a net into the sea; they were fishermen. He said to them 'Come after me, and I will make you fishers of men.' At once they left their nets and followed him". It is believed that Andrew preached the Good News in what is now modern Greece and Turkey and was crucified on an X-shaped cross.
Reflection:
While the Gospels give us little about the holiness of Andrew, he was an apostle, which tells us all we need to know. He was called personally by Jesus to heal and serve to others. This is no different today. Like Andrew, we are all called to do our part and love and serve others, just as Jesus would. Saint Andrew, pray for us.
Bishop George Kolodziej SDS DD invites everyone in our community to take part in a parish conversation that will help give us a vision for the future of the Bunbury Diocese.
Alongside Fr Vincent and Fr Marvin, please join Luke Bogoni, Angela Gorman and Anne Smith who will lead us in open conversations and an opportunity to speak and listen deeply to each other as we discern how the Holy Spirit is moving within us and our parish.
There will be two opportunities to attend:
Tea and coffee provided.
Everyone is encouraged to attend and participate in this most important conversation as we walk together towards our Diocesan Assembly in August.
Vinnies WA has launched its annual Winter Appeal for 2026!
As unprecedent demand for assistance across Western Australia continues with more people than ever being forced onto the streets, the College is committed to assisting those struggling in our community through our annual winter food and blanket drive.
Collection boxes will be in each classroom and homeroom for any non-perishable food items that you wish to donate. This year we will also be collecting blankets and warm clothing (jumpers, trackies, beanies, scarves) that are clean and in new or good condition - these can be dropped in at either Library.
On behalf of the College, I would like to thank you for the generosity and commitment that you show each and every year.
Mr Luke Bogoni
